Isaiah Brown–Zayy– is both an 8th grader and an up and coming rapper on soundcloud. Zayy started his passion in music at the age of five. He describes his own work: “I create hype songs.” Zayy, also known as Young Prodigy, makes music that people can rock to compared to his own favorite type of music, which is lyrical. Definitely check out one of his best, TTD. You won’t be disappointed.

Inspiration usually strikes when he’s in the shower, which is of course, where the best ideas come into play. He later produces his music with the help of his friend Ruben.

Zayy’s future plans are to go further with his music and someday become famous. If that fails, he would still like to do something with music or boxing.

Some advice that he would give to himself in the future is to stick with his music and to stay out of trouble. Something he would like everyone to know is that “Music can’t be taught. It comes from you and if you want to make music you have to have a certain mind and talent for it.”

He said to me that music isn’t for everyone and it can’t be forced; it is something that comes naturally. So to anyone who has a certain talent that they’re passionate about, don’t be afraid to chase your dreams and always stick with what inspires you.
