On Christmas every year, it is an axiom to make perfect chocolate chip cookies and pour a glass of milk for Santa. But, are your chocolate chip cookies perfect? I don’t think so. In order to make Santa the perfect chocolate chip cookie, follow my instructions.
First, you will need:
1 cup of butter (softened)
1 cup of white sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 teaspoons of water
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3 cups of all-purpose flour
2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt.
Stir in flour and chocolate chips.
Drop large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans. (If you want them to be EXTRA perfect, make the spoonfuls into spheres on the pan).
Plop them into the oven for about 10 minutes, or until they are LIGHTLY browned.
Ding! Santa’s perfect christmas cookies are ready to eat!
P.S. These are best with a glass of milk!
